Smiles Everywhere!

UOP Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry

The University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry has moved its campus. For more than a century, since 1896, the school had been located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. It’s now a gleaming new establishment South of Market in San Francisco.

Redmond Schwartz Mark Design (RSM) of San Clemente produced a wide and colorful variety of wayfinding, area branding and theme graphics for the 5 story, 400,000 sq. ft. facility.

Working with construction managers Nova Partners, WeidnerCA was chosen to manufacture and install both interior and exterior of over 1500 stainless steel letters/shapes, mural graphics and color themed floors that could make anyone smile.

Working with Suzanne Redmond and her firm was a pleasure. For a project with as many parts, pieces and stakeholders as this one had, their overall grasp and organizational skills were key to the team’s success.

The new campus was supported by many benevolent donors who have also been recognized throughout the property. Some with waiting areas, some rooms and all listed on the main floor wall.

Last, but certainly not least, the San Francisco building inspectors were treated to well over 100 code compliant and intuitive graphics making everyone happy.

We look forward to our scheduled “check up” in six months. We’ll keep you posted.
