Across from City Hall, the Grand Park is a space elevated to a “Park for Everyone”. The WeidnerCA team assisted in the design and led the fabrication and installation of all materials in the park. We engineered numerous large-scale elements and considered all of the possible ways they might wear over time.
We assisted in the design of several large-scale monuments to ensure that they would not be damaged by vandalism or climbed on. Our team also engineered these monuments so that they were stable in the ground and could not be easily removed.
